Did Italian Labour Market Reform in 2015 Increase Employment?
Abstract: a case study: the labor market in Italy. Specifically my aim is to understand through a quasi-experimental set up what were the effects of the 2015 labor reform policy in Italy. The reform's aim was to decrease the employer's costs of hiring through permanent contracts, namely by further deregulating them. I want to understand if this deregulation actually increased the number of permanent contracts or not.
